“You need to be aware of what others are doing, applaud their efforts, acknowledge their successes, and encourage them in their pursuits. When we all help one another, everybody wins.” –Jim Stovall
I am so excited to talk to y’all about the new project that I have been busy working on for Reyna Lay Designs. This project was put on my heart after seeing how much negativity there is in the world, especially if you are trying to start and grow a business for yourself. Our greatest privilege is to applaud one another in our efforts, creatively, physically, and business-wise. It is a privilege to encourage each other in our pursuits by sharing our own stories and passing our wisdom to one another. This is why I decided to create The RLD Podcast. My goal for this podcast is to interview people from all different journeys of life and to allow them to share their stories with you in order to build each other up, empower us to be successful in everything we choose to do, and to inspire us on our own journey of life. I already have so many amazing people, both men and women, lined up for the first season of The RLD Podcast! We are going to tackle so many subjects all geared toward the same goal: building, empowering, inspiring.
I’m hoping to have the first podcast out sometime in June, the sooner the better I say! So make sure you keep on the lookout for it on my Facebook page and my Instagram and Twitter! I will also be uploading some of them on my YouTube channel because I know a lot of you have been long-time ReynaLay YouTube subscribers. So who do I have lined up? I know y’all are excited to know! I can’t tell you all the names because what’s the fun in that? But I will give you a sneak peek!
I can officially say we have Alicia Mau, owner and jewelry designer, of Mama Bear’s Enlighten Me talking about her newest pieces and how she got to where she’s at. We also have the wonderful Tamara Styer, Editor-in-Chief of Deitra Magazine, letting us in to her life and talking all about the magazine, the runways shows she puts on, and her life. Brande Wilkerson, owner of Victory Vintage Boutique and Design Studio, and fashion designer, has also agreed to join the RLD podcast ranks and will be sharing with us all about her life as Chief Designer and Artistic Developer of fashion & millinery concepts, along with her story on how she’s dealt with breast cancer.
We also have Dr. Michele Granger, Professor of Entrepreneurship at Missouri State and author of The Fashion Industry and Its Careers talking all about her new book, her trip to Paris, and giving out some great info to all the entrepreneurs out there. Michael Zuniga, Bassist extraordinaire for mega-church, Lakewood Church, has graciously agreed to carve out some time from his very busy schedule to talk to us also! Lastly, we have owner of the ever popular, Hurts Donut Company, Kas Selby-Clegg, talking about her donut love, her ever growing business, and life as an entrepreneur.
And these are just a few of the people on our list for the show! Aren’t y’all excited? I know I am! I’d love to thank all of the people who have agreed to take time out of their busy days to be on the show. I am so thankful and I can’t wait to share your journeys, stories, and experiences with all of my followers and listeners.
Also, I am currently accepting sponsors for The RLD Podcast. So if you have a business that you would like me to promote or advertise then there is no better way to do it then with the RLD Podcast. My weekly podcast will reach an amazing audience of thousands of highly engaged, influential designers, creatives, musicians, fashion lovers, entrepreneurs, and people of all walks of life always looking forward to hearing about great new products or restaurants for both themselves and their family. Simply put, there’s no better way to get your brand, product, service, or store in front of this kind of audience. If any of you are interested in being sponsors of the show let me know by going to the RLD PODCAST tab in the navigation bar. I must say in advance that I am willing to hear about different kinds of sponsors but, will only accept those that will be beneficial for my listeners and align with The RLD Podcast message and brand.
Thank you all for being so supportive of all I do both personally and professionally! I am so thankful for you all. I can’t wait to get the first podcast out to you so make sure you stay tuned. If you are interested in being interviewed for the podcast, or know someone that would be perfect for the show, submit that info in the message part of the contact form on the CONTACT tab in the navigation bar!
As always stay creative,
