Last night I realized I had nothing to wear to church *smirk* so I looked in my stash and found this fabric that I purchased from Hancock Fabrics a couple weeks ago. I took out a custom pattern I had made for myself and altered it to make it into a full circle skirt and a front bodice with a lower, curvier, neckline. The bodice is fully lined and has an invisible zipper on the left side, although next time I’ll put it in the back.
The fabric is polyester/cotton and I really wish I could find some silk fabric because I really want my custom made wardrobe to be made of the best fabric, but unfortunately I can’t seem to find any. Luckily, this fabric is so nice and comfy that I know I’ll be wearing it very often.
My heels are last season’s from Target and so comfortable!
I love how much I can twirl in it and feel so girly, which is rare in my life; I’m such a tomboy. lol
Next time I’ll be making a jumpsuit, hopefully out of cobalt blue or royal purple and adding it to the shop, but first let me leave you with a picture of me after I almost fell on my bum after all this twirling! haha. See my face? That is the look of relief that I didn’t fall! *whew!*
