This week I decided not to let my busy life take over so much of my time and to actually allow myself time to do things that I enjoy. So I took out my Fashionary sketchbook and began rendering some drawings of dresses that I fell in love with.

I chose Marchesa’s black dress with beautiful details since Georgina Chapman is one of my favorite designers and also to celebrate that she’s become part of the Board of Directors of the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Also, after perusing through style.com I found a new designer that I had not known about: Peter Pilotto. His designs are fresh, funky, bold, and bright, which is right up my alley. Lastly, I drew a sketch from Desigual’s runway show. Desigual is a casual clothing company based in Barcelona, Spain and gorgeous models like Adriana Lima sported their clothing on the runway.

Drawings were made using Prismacolor Markers, Prismacolor pencils, and Micron Pens.

I’m a bit out of practice since it’s been months since I took time to make some art but, I hope y’all enjoyed these! Leave me a comment, what do y’all think?
